Catharine Keweshan found her final peace as she passed into the Lord’s arms on Dec. 30, 2015. Her years of suffering with the confusion and pain of Alzheimer’s Disease are finally over.
Catharine Archer was born in Chester, PA on Nov. 8, 1930. She grew up on Brown St. in Chester and lived with her mother, Hester Archer, her grandparents, and other members of her extended family. She graduated from Chester High School in 1948.
In 1950, Catharine and William Rash were married in Chester. Together, in Claymont, DE, they raised their three children: Lynn Dye of Calabash, NC, Nancie Bleiler of Gibbstown, NJ, and William Rash, IV (deceased). Catharine was widowed in 1985 and moved to Cape May, NJ, where she met the second great love of her life - William Keweshan (deceased). Catharine and Bill K. loved Cape May and spent their time sitting on the beach and playing beach bocce in Cape May.
Catharine is survived by her 2 daughters, Lynn and Nancie; their husbands, Richard Dye and Jim Bleiler; her 3 grandsons, Duffy Sinnott, Michael Dye, and Daniel Sinnott; and 4 great-grandchildren. Her son, Billy, and her oldest grandchild, Benjamin Dye, preceded her in death.
Catharine’s family believes that the loving souls of those who passed before her joyfully greeted her as God fulfilled His Awesome Promise to all of us. May she rest in peace.
Interment will be private.
For those who would like to make a donation in Catharine’s memory, the family suggests The Alzheimer’s Association at http://www.alz.org.
